Job/Person Summary

Toynbee School is a successful and popular school described by OFSTED as a ‘Gem in Chandlers Ford’. We are keen to appoint an IT Technician to support our small IT team, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, in order to ensure the smooth running of our school systems.

Primarily acting as the first point of contact for our school staff on a range of IT issues, you will support the IT team and utilise 3rd party support where necessary. You will investigate, diagnose and provide technical support for network, hardware and software problems, so a problem-solving outlook coupled with the right technical skill is vital.  AV experience is desirable with school events and resources.

Toynbee is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant pre-employment checks.

We are committed to continuous improvement and professional development for all and have a friendly and supportive staff team.  If you feel you could contribute to the success of our school (rated 'good' by Ofsted in November 2015) please visit our website for the job details and an application pack, or contact Janette Hobbs, PA to the Headteacher - email:
